Flowerpot
Tasmania.
To Whom It May Concern:
How many dwellings are there in Tasmania?
How big of percentage of Tasmania’s energy do they consume?
How much would it cost to build a power station to generate a similar amount of energy?
How many of these could be retro fitted for solar panels for micro generation?
What would be the greenhouse savings?
Would it not be in the interests of the Tasmanian Government to legislate and pay for such a scheme?
The costs on one hundred thousand homes was arrived at by ringing current suppliers and was the upper end of the cost of a fifteen kilowatt system for one dwelling. I should imagine the cost
For fifty or one hundred thousand dwelling having a saving of scale that would be substantial.
Can we afford to not look at this possibility?
Would there be an opportunity for the state to trade carbon credits?
Let us really start thinking clean green and bugga the rhetoric.
