Today The American Supreme Court ruled that trial by military commission for Gotamo Bay inmates was illegal under American and international law.
Today our Prime Minister ruled that David Hicks was guilty and should stand trial but not in Australia where he is guilty of nothing>
I'm wondering about the seperation of powers in Australia between the legislature and the judiciary, did I miss something or does a Prime Minister have the prejudicial rights to declare and Australian citizen guilty, where there was no Australian law, and guilt was never acertained by a fair trial.
